1JulBring back your New Year’s Resolutions

Posted on 1/07/2015 by Nine2Three

This year I attended a great New Years Eve Party. It wasn’t huge or with big fireworks, just a small group of friends sharing a beautiful meal and reviewing the past year with hopes and dreams for the New Year just around the corner.

The hostess of the dinner had collected jars, placed our names upon them and issued us all with paper and pen. We were to write our New Year’s resolutions on the paper and seal it in the jar. The idea was that we would all get together next year and open our jars and see if we fulfilled any of our resolutions.

It was a lovely idea and we all had much fun writing our notes and sealing our jars.

However as time went on, I found myself unable to remember everything I had put into the jar.

I could guess at the regular items, that I might write every year, about health and fitness and relationships, but could definitely not remember any specifics.

So now that it is six months into the year – what were my resolutions and am I half way to achieving them?

This proves to me how important visual reminders of goals and resolutions are. If I can’t see the goal, I may loose focus or forget what I am trying to achieve. However if I have my goal in front of me at all times it is easier to stay focused.

The New Financial Year is a great time to review your business goals from the last financial year and any goals  you had for 2015, that you should be half way to achieving.

Let’s try to bring back our New Years Resolution’s and re-focus for the New Financial Year and the second half of the calendar year.

Take a moment to re-ignite your goals, check your progress and move your business forward.

No one will ever grow your business for you, it’s up to you, so find that passion that made you start in the beginning, and bring back your resolutions!

Good Luck! We are here to support you!
