Society is changing and workers are looking for more flexibility with in their lives. A well balanced worker is a good employee and that fine line between balancing work and family is of the utmost importance. Family life is important. The current skills shortage means that employers need to look beyond the traditional reservoir of candidates to find the quality and experience they need for their businesses.

Both workers and employers need to be flexible in order to accommodate each others needs and work together to build strong and lasting relationships. Many employees need flexibility in their working lives to accommodate the needs of a family. However given this opportunity, the mature employee will bring qualities and experience to any role.
