15AugWhat is Nine2Three's MC Division?

Posted on 15/08/2016 by Nine2Three

Nine2Three has a corporate division that has been working with a wide range of businesses for many years. In this division, we source and place employees whose roles are at a higher level than the standard Nine2three style worker. We have a strong history in this area being a preferred supplier to one of the world’s largest investment banks for many years and our expertise in finance is extremely strong. From a highly skilled Executive Assistant through to roles in Corporate & Project Finance and Treasury, we have worked in a variety of areas with highly skilled and valued employees. Recruiting Chartered Accountants through to Hedge Fund Accountants, and Team Leaders for all types of teams, from collections through to sales.

Recruiting executive level staff is a much higher skilled recruitment project. Often we are looking for passive candidates, who are not looking to move and it is our job to enlighten them on the opportunities out there. Executive head hunting is a common practise and requires skills and patience.

Firms looking to recruit new talent to their teams need to be aware of their offering and whether it is more attractive than what the market is currently offering. It is pointless to just hope someone will want to move, just for the heck of it – there has to be a gain for the worker.

Of course not all executive recruitment is through ‘search’ capabilities. Often candidates are looking to move, or have been made redundant through organisational restructuring.

However located, the recruitment process for executive level candidates is more lengthy and more specialised as the recruiter is dealing with higher level expectations from both parties and more in-depth screening to ascertain qualities which are not as easy to locate as ‘can you use Excel’. Designing recruitment campaigns that highlight whether candidates have higher level management skills, expert communication skills, business acumen or ability to devise strategy is highly skilled and time consuming.

Perhaps you assumed that Nine2three, with such a name, only recruits ‘Mums’? However, we have been working in the executive space for many years. Our candidates when they apply to be registered on our database are assessed and added to our MC database if deemed appropriate. Job alerts are sent out to the most suitable candidates for each role specifically and often we work the phones, for that more personal approach for executive level candidates.

Clients when giving us a job brief do not need to advise us if this is an MC role, we can work that out and our recruitment strategy is defined accordingly. So for every style of worker you need from an Office Junior to a General Manager, you can rely on Nine2three Employment Solutions.
