Graduate Programs – that’s the realm of big business – right???

When you think of graduate programs, what do you think of? Multinational companies  taking the cream of the crop from the top Australian universities?

Young workers, being thrown in at the deep end, given great opportunities to work across various divisions in large organisations and growing the base of the human resource capital for that organisation.

A graduate program involves an organisation, employing a graduate direct from university.

This can often be for a prescribed period of time such as two or three years. Initially the graduate will be moved around the business to gain an understanding of the various departments and cost centres within the organisation. After a period of time, with mentoring and expanded work experiences the organisation and the graduate will agree on the area that the graduate is most interested in or shows the best aptitude for.

The young employee will then generally settle down in the organisation on a career path.

Graduate programs are usually well defined and planned by the organisation. Most graduate positions are advertised around March/April for commencement in the following January.

Large organisations have at the least,  a Human Resource department or even a Human Capital Management division with many units,  one of which may totally organise the graduate program.

However there are many more graduates than graduate positions, and even if the big guys take the top 5%, there are plenty amazing young people who are still looking for their first graduate position.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if small businesses had the opportunity to offer the same style of programs as Corporate Australia.  Well now  you can!

Nine2Three offers our N2T GRAD PLAN from 2015.

We have been working in this area for a few years now, and have formulated strong ties with major Sydney Universities.

Because we work with businesses that range in size from Small/Medium Enterprises through to large organisations, we have been able to see what the specific  needs are of the SME market.

We have designed the best plan for our SME clients, to access young workers, on a part time basis, before they graduate for one to two years, which gives the business the opportunity to educate the worker in all facets of the business, before they graduate and then you have the option of offering full time work on graduation.

While working part time, you are not locked into any contracts, have no minimum hours and of course it is totally tax deductable.

For many of us, an added bonus is watching the young worker develop and seeing them thrive in your organisation.  It is a fantastic initiative and we are very excited about it!

Our N2T GRAD PLAN will introduce you to young workers; digital natives with strong IT skills and lightening fast  at picking up processes and new technologies. They are eager to learn and expand their skills  and most importantly, reliable, honest and good workers, because they have been through the stringent Nine2Three recruitment processes.

Looking for a new staffing model for 2015 – N2T GRAD PLAN is the way to go.
